SJFS88 series wet grinder is developed by our company for the purpose of using fresh cassava, sweet potato and other feed stock in the alcohol and starch industry and absorbing wet grind’s development characteristics of our company’s new shredder. This series of crusher is characterized by large quantity, strong crushing capacity, low energy consumption, and high recovery, the machine adopts motor direct linkage, thus reducing the power loss and increasing the economic benefit.

This type of machine is made up by grinder, frame, shower pipe, motor ,rotor assembly, etc. Dynamic balance of rotor assembly, balance difference is more than 5g, so this type milling machine is characterized by compact structure, smooth and reliable operation, easy installation, etc.

1. Application

SJFS88 series crusher is mainly used in fresh cassava, sweet potato and other potato starch fragmentation. High-speed rotating hammer fully destroys the organizational structure of potato, break up starch granulesparticle to the fineness material degree and sieve out from sieve pore, the large particulate material to be crushed in the crushing chamber to up to the final sieve out particles from the sieve.

3. THE USING STRUCTURE OF MILLING MACHINE

1,Rack: The lower housing of this series of milling machine is integrated with the engine base. The overall rigidity is excellent and the structure is robust, so the operation is stable and the stability of the whole machine is guaranteed.

2,The upper housing : The upper housing is connected with the rubber pad on the sealing surface of the machine seat by bolts. The upper housing is equipped with feeding port, toothed plate and spray pipe. After the upper housing is covered, the bolts are pressed and the sieve plate is pressed by the sieve pressing device.

3,Bearing base: bearing base is our company’s specially reinforced shaft seat, concentricity error is less than 10um, higher than the national standard for high concentricity bearing, thus extending bearing life, and with additional oil hole, it is quite convenient to maintain the bearing.

4,Rotor assemblies: the rotor assembly consists of shaft, the rotor disk, shaft sleeve, pin, hammer plate to form spindle quenching and tempering, After the rotor rotates at high speed, the hammer plate strikes the material under the action of centrifugal force, so that the material is broken to achieve the purpose of crushing.

5,Coupling: the coupling adopts the elastic pin structure, which reduces the radial force generated by different coaxiality between the spindle and the motor, and prolongs the bearing life.

4. THE INSTALLATION AND DEBUG OF MILLING MACHINE

Before the Milling machine’s installation process,we must consider the layout of the whole plant, fulll consideration to the material inlet, a gate, slurry discharge pipe, the location of power settings are needed, and around the mill should leave sufficient space to facilitate maintenance, replace parts, facilitate transportation and so on.

1,When doing the Mill installation, it can be directly connected with the anchor bolt on the foundation, or the shock absorber can be directly located on the foundation, but the shock absorber must be aligned with the foundation. This series of mills are connected with shock absorbers prior to their ex- works , the users can decide on their own, the mill foundation must reach the specified maintenance time.

2,After installation, check the running parts of the whole machine. After the completion of inspection , carry out the idling test of the whole machine. After the idling is normal, start feeding step by step to reach the motor load..

3,The whole base must be horizontal, the horizontal degree is ≤ 1% mm.

5. THE APPLICATION AND OPERATION OF MILLING MACHINE

1,Before starting the machine, the running parts must be carefully checked, check bearings and bolts to see whether they are loose, and add enough lubricant, there should be no debris in the machine, and after a few weeks of manual idling, only when there is no jamming or collision can the machine be started, After starting normally, open the water valve for feeding production.

2,Feeding must be uniform, water used should moderate, generally with every ton of fresh water hammer chips for pulp degree of 150-18 °,when feeding, we must pay special attention to mill current, to ensure it is within the motor’s rated current

3,After the crusher runs normally, attention must be paid to whether there are particles or potato blocks in the slurry. If this happens, it means that the sieve plate hole of the crusher has been worn or the holes are punched through. Stop the machine immediately and replace the sieve plate.

4,When crusher is running normally, and there is abnormal sound inside machine, stop the machine immediately, check and deal with it. It is forbidden to let iron, stone, wood and other impurities into the machine. If the above impurities are brought into the machine accidentally, stop the machine immediately, check whether the rotor assembly is damaged after removal, and then start the machine again.

5,Stop feeding before the machine is shut down. Wash the material in the machine with cleaning water directly before the machine is shut down. After shutdown, clean the equipment and surroundings of the crusher. Do not rinse the motor with water in case of accidents.

6. THE FAILURE AND TROUBLRSHOOTING OF MILLING MACHINE

Proper use and maintenance are required, it is an important guarantee to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the crusher and prolong its service life, during the use and maintenance, we should pay special attention to the following:

﹙1﹚adjusting

A: Hammer adjustment: When the hammers in the rotor are installed in a symmetrical manner, they must be arranged in strict accordance with the requirements. The weight of two sets of hammers corresponding to each other must not be more than 5g. That is, after the first corner of the hammers is worn, the feed guide plate can be changed to make the rotor reverse. After the two corners of the hammers are worn, the hammers must be replaced. See Fig. 3. When replacing the hammers, open the operation door and move it to one side Loosen the handle of the sieve pressing mechanism, lower the sieve pressing mechanism, loosen the locking sleeve on the pin shaft with a screwdriver, draw out the pin shaft, replace the hammer , and then tighten the locking washer on the pin shaft.

B: Sieve adjustment: Select the appropriate sieve according to the fineness of the crushed material. The sieve should be replaced in time after being worn out or damaged. The sieve should be loaded from both sides and pressed by pressing mechanism.

﹙2﹚maintenance

a. Operating strictly in accordance with the operation methods, each shift should make necessary inspections and clean-up operations.

b. After the first 1000 hours of running of the machine; the bearing should be removed and cleaned once (every 2000 hours thereafter) do the removal and cleaning, and replace the grease, the grease with lithium base molybdenum disulfide grease, filling the grease, the bearing gap should only fill 1/2-3/4, refuel, must clean the crude oil. Every 50 hours to check, add the right amount of grease ( in case of excessive grease, it will also result in bearing heating). If the bearing is heated seriously or the grease flows out, stop the machine immediately and deal with it.

c. Repair and replace machine parts in case of damage or serious wear and tear. Rotor parts (excluding pins and hammers) shall be checked for dynamic balance check after disassembly and replacement of parts. The dynamic balance quality is checked according to the national standard gb 9239-88 for the rigid rotor balance grade G 6.3.

d. If down time is long, should clean the inside and outside of the machine, remove dust, dirt to prevent the machines’ rust and mesh blockage.
